Although he wouldn't wear the cape and wasn't crazy about his head being squirt with water, Lucas did great with mom and dad looking on and a cool VW convertible Bug to sit in.
I thought I'd be a lot more emotional about yet another first milestone that proves babies do grow up and he definitely does look different - older somehow, but overall I did just as well as he did.The best is yet to be.
